David grew up in East Texas, surrounded by enough colorful characters to fill the pages of hundreds of books. Later, while living in Chicago, he became an advertising copywriter and creative director, and is probably responsible for some of the junk mail you’ve received over the years.

In addition to his own novels, David is a seasoned ghostwriter and has worked with nationally-acclaimed authors to develop and co-write several best-selling psychological thrillers. He’s also a successful screenwriter, having written everything from horror movies to the acclaimed family film Spirit Riders, starring Lance Henrickson, C. Thomas Howell and Alexandria DeBerry.

David currently lives in upstate New York, where he continues to complain about the cold every single winter.
